Dolce & Gabbana Baby Blanket

This pattern is based on a skirt chart (below) that Dolce and Gabbana had in their 2013 line.  I adjusted it to make it flat for a blanket.

Size I Crochet Hook.

Ch 105

1. Dc in the sixth ch from the hook, "ch4, sk4 ch, sc in next ch, ch4, sk4 ch, dc in next, ch2, dc in next ch," repeat " across. In the last ch, ch, dc in last ch, Ch4, and turn. 

2.  "Dc  in same ch2-sp, ch3, sc in ch4-sp, ch5, sc in next ch4-sp, ch3, Dc in ch2-sp, ch2," repeat across, in last space dc, ch, dc. Ch4 and turn. 

3.  Dc in ch-sp, "ch2, [3tbl-cluster ( 2yo, pull one through, yo, pull through two, yo, pull through two, 2yo, pull one through, yo, pull through two, yo, pull through two, 2yo, pull one through, yo, pull through two, yo, pull through two, yo, pull through all ), ch2, 3tbl-cluster, ch2, 3tbl-cluster,] in ch5-sp, ch2, dc in ch2-sp, ch2, dc in same ch2 space." Repeat across. Dc in last sp, ch3, turn. 

4.  Dc in ch2-sp between DCS, "ch2, dc in same ch2-sp, ch3, sc in ch2-sp in cluster, ch2, sc in next ch2-sp in cluster, ch3, dc in ch2-sp, " repeat to end, dc in last sc, ch, dc,  ch3, turn. 

5. Dc in ch-sp, "4dc in ch3-sp, 2dc in ch2-sp, 3dc in ch3-sp, 2dc in ch2-sp," repeat across, dc in last dc and again in ch-sp, ch3 and turn. 

6.  Dc, "4dc, sc dc, ch," repeat across. Ch5, turn. 

7.  Sk1, "4tbl-cluster, ch5," repeat across. Ch2, dc in last dc, ch4, turn. 

8.  Sc in 4tbl- cluster, ch4, sc in ch5-sp,ch4" repeat to end and turn. 

9.  "Ch4, sk in ch4-sp" repeat across. 

10-11.  Repeat #9.

12.  "Ch5, sk ch4-sp, sc in next ch4-sp, ch2, sc in the same ch4-sp," repeat across to the last space, then ch4, sc in last ch-sp, ch3 and turn. 

13.  2Dc  in first and last ch-sp, 4dc in each ch-sp to the end, ch3, and turn. 

14.  Sk first dc, "dc in next dc, ch, sk dc" across to the end, ch3 and turn. 

15.  Sk first dc, dc in next ch-sp and then next dc and all the way to the end. Ch and turn. 

16. Sc in next three dc, "ch5, sk4, 4dc in next dc, ch3, sk3, 4dc in next dc, ch5, sk4, sc in next 3sc," repeat " " across.  Ch3 and turn. 

17.  Dc in second sc, "ch3, 3dc in  ch5-sp, dc in next dc, ch4, dc in ch3-sp, ch4, dc in last dc in cluster, 3dc in ch5-sp, ch3, dc in middle sc cluster" repeat " " across to end, ch3, and turn. 

18. Dc in second dc, "3 dc in ch3-sp, dc in first dc, ch5, sc in ch4-sp, sc in dc, sc in next ch4-sp, ch5, dc in last dc of the dc cluster, 3dc in ch3-sp, ch2, 3dc in ch3-sp, dc," repeat " " to then end. Ch3 and turn. 

19.  Dc in second dc, dc one more time in next dc, "ch6, 2sc in ch5-sp, sc in each sc, 2sc in ch5-sp, ch6, dc in the last dc in dc cluster, 2dc in ch2-sp, dc in the first dc in the cluster," repeat to end. Dc in last three dc. Ch3 and turn. 

20.  Dc in second dc, dc in the next dc, "3dc in ch6-sp, ch5, 3sc in the center three sc, ch5, 3dc in ch6-sp, dc in first dc of the cluster,ch2, dc in the last dc in the cluster," repeat "" to the end. Ch3 and turned. 

21.  Dc in second dc,  "ch3, dc in last dc of cluster,  3dc in  ch5-sp, ch3, dc in middle sc of cluster, ch3, 3dc in ch5-sp, ch3, dc in first dc in cluster, ch3, dc in ch2-sp " repeat " " across to end, ch1, and turn. 

22.  Sc in next two dc, sc in ch3-sp, "ch3,  dc in last dc of the cluster, 3dc in ch3-sp, ch3, 3dc in ch3-sp, dc in first dc of the cluster, ch3, sc in ch3-sp, sc in dc, sc in ch3-sp," repeat to the end. Ch3 and turn. 

23. Dc in second sc, dc in every sc and dc, dc twice in every ch3-sp and dc once in every 4th ch3-sp and the last ch3-sp. ch3 and turn. 

24-25.  Repeat #14-15.

26. Ch4 instead and dc in the second dc, repeat #1 from " ".

Repeat 2-26 twice more. 

The trim:

1.  Last repeat stop after #23 and crochet around the corner ( to make the corner "2dc, ch, 2dc" in same sc ) and alongside to begin trim. 100dc on the short sides and 130dc on the long sides.  Sl st together and ch3.

2.  "Dc, ch, sk st," repeat around. Sl st together and ch3.

3.  Dc around.   Sl st together and ch.

4.  Turn sl st to the corner.  Ch3 and turn 6dc in the corner, sk dc, sc in next dc, "ch5, sk4, sc in next dc, ch5, sk4, sc in next dc, sk2, 7dc in next dc, sk2, sc in next dc," repeat around making sure 7dc in each corner. Slst in first dc and ch3.

5.  Turn and slst back to top of ch5-sp, sc, ( for corners, ch3, dc in next three dc, ch2, dc in dc, ch2, dc in next three dc, ch3,) " sc in ch5-sp, ch5, sc in ch5-sp, ch2, dc in next three dc, ch2, dc in dc, ch2, dc in next three dc, ch2," repeat around  " " slst in first sc.

6.  Slst to center of ch5-sp, ch4, dc in ch5-sp, ( for corners, ch4, 3dc-cluster, ch3, 7dc in dc, ch3, 3dc-cluster, ch4) "[dc, ch2, dc] in ch5-sp, ch2, 3dc-cluster, ch2, 7dc in dc, ch2, 3dc-cluster, ch2," repeat around.

8.  Ch6, "3dctog, ch3, for every 3 dc, ch3, dc in sc, ch3, ( ch3, sc in ch5-sp and ch3 for corners)" all around and slst in third ch.

9.  "Sc, ch3, sc, ch5," in every sc, dc, and 3dctog.  Tie off and weave in tail.
